Little Bit of Heaven

I want a little bit of Texas
in the hills of Spain;
A little bit of Louisiana
in the Tokyo rain.
Just a little of the South and the West,
the music and the places I love best,
when I'm on the road.

I'd like to find some Albuquerque
in those Parisian nights;
And, when Singapore is murky,
some San Francisco sights.
And maybe when the fog rolls through,
and I'm caught in Katmandu,
if I could do a little two-step...

When I'm roaming in Sevilla,
it is your smile I miss.
Scouting vendors in Korea?
Your jalapeno kiss.
You'd be my Kentucky cooking,
you're so good-looking,
your tiger eyea under Burmese skies --
would bring me Texas
what I miss in Mississippi
both of Carolina
most of Oklahoma
the air of Arizona
north and south Nevada
all of Alabama
and, of course, Louisiana.
